Inside the box

Inside the box along with the headset leatherette ear caps we also find an extra set of velour ear pads, a detachable 3.5mm stereo microphone, an audio level control box with extra-long braided cable, airplane adapter and mesh carrying bag. Everything is contained neatly inside a foam cutout.

Looks

First thing that attracts me is that the headset cable all are nice braided. Headset is having a good finishing with iconic red and black colour theme and light-weight aluminum body. Ear-cups have black brushed aluminum finishing with a closed cup design and a HyperX logo in red.

Being light-weight headset also have a very soft padded leather headband, giving great comfort to your head and neck. Included velour ear pads are of high quality and are very comfortable to ears while long gaming playtime or music listening.

HyperX Cloud Pro Gaming headset comes with 53mm drive with neodymium magnet installed inside the ear-cups and inside of ear-cup is lined with special cut-out sound damping fiber pads, which helps drive in producing excellent quality sound.

Audio Experience

With the velour ear-caps, the HyperX Cloud Pro Gaming headset provided a superb music listening comfort. When used with ASUS Xonar U7 sound card, headset produced amazing sound quality with clear and deep base, even at high volume headset doesn’t showed any sound degradation.

Gaming Experience

During gaming when used with gaming desktop equipped with ASUS Xonar DX sound card, headset produced realistic surround gaming experience with sound effect like explosions, gun fire and dialogue, all rendered in a realistic way.

With sealed designed and sound damping fiber pad inside, the headset drives always maintained the dynamic range, sound quality and bass, even with high volume. Very impressive.
